Terms of Service

1. What WearWise is

WearWise is an iOS app that helps you catalogue your clothing, build outfits, and optionally share a wardrobe with people you trust. It is built and operated by Aaryan Shah ("we", "us").

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

3. Your content

You own the photos and wardrobe data you add to WearWise. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it within the app to provide the service — nothing more. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You are responsible for the content you upload. You may not upload content that:

• Violates anyone else's intellectual property rights
• Contains illegal material
• Is intended to harass or harm others

4. Shared wardrobes

When you share a wardrobe or accept an invite, you are sharing content with specific people. You are responsible for who you invite. Items copied into a shared wardrobe are visible to all members of that wardrobe.

We are not responsible for what other users do with content shared in a wardrobe you are a member of.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use WearWise to:

• Attempt to access other users' private data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
• Use the service in a way that could damage or overload our infrastructure
• Automate access to the service without our written permission

6. Service availability

WearWise is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees about uptime or availability, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll do our best to give notice of significant changes.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WearWise is provided without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the app will be error-free or that your data will never be lost. Back up anything important.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aaryan Shah will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of WearWise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which for a free app is $0).

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the new Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when we make changes.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
